Hannah's Story
Hi, I’m Hannah , the artist behind Handrawn Studios.
I’ve always loved drawing and creating, and over the years I’ve found that what I enjoy most is creating art that has a personal meaning behind it. That’s what led me to start Handrawn Studios and turn something I love into a business of my own.
I’m a mum, a teacher and a lifelong creative, so I’m no stranger to juggling a few different things at once! My teaching background has also taught me how much I love working with people, meeting new faces and making others feel comfortable, something that comes in handy when I’m drawing people live at events.
I love the spontaneity of live illustration. You never quite know who you’re going to meet or what moments you’ll capture, and I think that’s what makes each event so special. I also love creating commissions from photographs, taking something that already holds meaning and turning it into a piece of artwork that can be kept forever.
For me, Handrawn Studios is about more than just drawing. It’s about creating something personal, having a bit of fun and giving people a tangible reminder of a person, place or moment that means something to them.

My mission with Handrawn Studios is to turn meaningful people, moments and memories into artwork that can be treasured for years to come.
I want to bring the joy and personal connection of hand-drawn art into people’s special occasions, whether that’s capturing a moment live at an event, creating a portrait from a favourite photograph, or designing a card for someone you love.
At the heart of Handrawn Studios is the belief that art doesn’t have to be perfect or overly complicated to be meaningful. It just needs to tell a story, capture a feeling and be made with care.
